I had a really disappointing experience at the self-checkout here. A staff member was incredibly rude when asking to check my shopping bags from other stores where I had already made purchases. ​There is a nice, polite way to ask customers for a bag check, and there is a rude way to do it. The approach here was completely unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. Customer service training is definitely needed.

Accused of stealing With absolutely no proof was not polite or correct in the way they approached me with the situation Once proven not have stolen anything still continued to make the same accusations and called security on me Very very poor customer service will be making further complaints to management

Eastland BIGW on 08/04/2026 made a phone call to asking for size 5 basketball. We actually on the way asked if she could hold up the ball, she said we cannot hold which make sense, stated that store has 3 balls. Once we arrived looked at the shelf nothing available, spoken to the service desk female staffer who said nothing available if not in the shelf then i said we called just 10minutes ago you said got three balls. placed a click and collect order yesterday at 12:30pm for a book. come 9am the next morning and it still wasnt picked and confirmed to pick up. ended up walking into the store, buying myself and cancelling my order. why do i as a customer pretty much have to do the workers job? they had half the day to pick my order and it was never done. and now i am short of money due to the refund taking 3-5 days to be put back into my account, and having to pay for the book when going into the store. last time i bother doing click and co... read more

Deb that works at self service check out is the rudest lady I think I’ve ever come across, she accused me of stealing items as I didn’t have a receipt, even though I was there spending $80+ on my purchases from big w She rudely asked to scan the items twice as to switch she said they sell them at big w After looking online etc for the same item brand they do not sell that brand in store.
