I can’t believe how bad the food was. It’s really not that hard to mess up cooking meat over a grill. They must get really terrible meat because it taste bad like really bad.
My girlfriend and I stopped in here after going to Chiricahua National Monument. We wanted nothing more than to eat a Texas-sized meal after hiking for hours. I left disappointed. I ordered a combo plate with the brisket and the sausage and chose fries and onion rings for my two sides. Onion rings cost two dollars extra because they were part of the premium sides menu. Just outstanding. Exceptional Texas inspired decor all around. Very welcoming staff, super polite. We had the fried pickle appetizer which were full length dill spears exceptionally battered, quite delicious. The combo plate of brisket, pulled pork and pork ribs were so flavorful and tender, so well done. These guys are impressive cooks. Potato salad, beans and their barbecue sauce equally done. Bland food outrageously priced under seasoned......
Hubby and I were driving by and decided to stop in because the place looked different, and we’re glad we did! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I had a baked potato with BBQ brisket and a side salad; my husband had cod fish with fries. The pecan pie with ice cream was incredibly delicious and the perfect way to end our meal.
