Went today for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. The fufu and egusi soup was so flavorful, the owner put lots of love into it. The owner and her mom are so awesome. Definitely a need to go and try❤️ WILL BE BACK SOON

I drove from Springfield,Ma just to try the food. I ordered fufu w/ chicken egusi, plaintains, but I wanted them spicy and a sobolo. Chicken egusi was made with love. It was my first time trying sobolo I was sick so the recommendation from the cook was on point definitely spicy and gingery will knock any sickness out. The spot was nice and welcoming. I had an excellent experience at Big Star Afro Cuisine. I ordered the fried rice with beef for takeout, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic West African taste. The beef was tender, and the fried rice was perfectly seasoned. What impressed me even more was the kindness and generosity of the owners. When I picked up my order, they gave my children free juice, which was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. Tried my first African meal with fufu! I've been dying to try this. And the lady was so nice, gave me samples to see if I can handle the spiciness & which I would prefer. So friendly & helpful! Chicken was a bit overcooked, but it was so good
