My father lived in independent living, first floor dependent living, and memory care at Big sky. They do a good job with independent living. First floor unacceptable situations occurred. Majority of staff unqualified. Just because they are a med tech doesn’t mean they know what they are doing. If you keep your eyes and ears open and be aware of what is happening, then first floor living is OK. The reason for my one star rating is memory care. A part of the building is closed off for MC. My mom is an independent living resident. The majority of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Nicole welcomed her and included her in activities since day 1 and mom is able to utilize opportunities for social interactions. Mom appreciates the opportunity for exercise classes, walks and gym time. Concerns and praises with meals have been voiced. When visiting, always greater and treated with kindness.
