I'm the proud owner of two Watermasters. One Grizzly which is almost 20 years old and the other a Kodiak probably 10 years old. These inflatables have been used probably a couple hundred times and have never let me down. They've been dragged for miles over sharp rocky river bottoms, roped down steep cliffs and run down some crazy rapids............unscathed. No wear no tear and they just keep on tickin'. This review is long overdue! I have owned a WaterMaster Grizzly for eight years. In my opinion it is the ultimate solo fishing platform. It is the ideal craft for fishing northern New England's brook trout ponds. When fishing alone it is vastly superior to canoes or rowboats because you can move and fish without having to use anchors and can keep your fly on the water all the time. You are high enough above the water to have excellent visibility. Although I find that I rely primarily on fins to move around and troll, the oar... read more
