Very affordable, get selection of sides. Can't beat Friday's lunch special.

Ribs were very thin, flat and not tender at all. They were actually really disappointing. Kind of grisley and tough like beef jerky in spots because of how thin they were. The brisket was juicy and tender, but not very flavorful and did not have very much smokey flavor, it had a decent bark but no smoke ring at all. Jalapeno cheese sausage had great flavor but also didn't taste smoked at all. Brisket, cornbread salad and pecan pie was very good.
My husband and I first tried Big Ray’s a few years ago, and we can’t say enough good things about them! ALL of their meats are tender and seasoned to perfection. Their sides are out of this world. My favorite order is the chopped brisket sandwich (they butter the bun and toast it so that the outside of the bun is pillowy and soft, but when you bite into it you get that marvelous crispiness..just like my Daddy used to make!) - and I rotate the sides because they’re all superb, but try the Cornbread Salad!
