Love it, homey feel, good food, love-yummy
Delicious food, friendly service, and Thursday night karaoke. The meat-stuffed baked potato is huge and delicious, and they take the extra time to scrape the potato to soften up the inside before stuffing it which really sets it apart from other restaurants. The baked beans are also phenomenal. The people working are always so, so nice and truly seem to take passion in the place. I’ll be coming here for life.
Nice chopped brisket sandwich, was a little fattier than I normally like, but mostly just being nit picky. Truthfully I’d complain even more if there wasn’t enough fat. Okra was piping hot and not overly greasy or salty. Green beans were and interesting twist with bell peppers in them, pretty nice, though I think normally I’ll stick with out them.
Worst brisket I've ever had in my entire life. Someone smoking brisket at home for the first time using an online recipe wont be able to make it this bad. It was chewy and dry. The fat hadn't rendered at all. Sides were average. Total waste of money.
First time visiting and my ribs were hard in places (over cooked) and my greens tasted like it was to much vinegar
