Big O Tires - Avoid!! Had our oil changed at Big O in Elizabeth last week. Just noticed oil dripping from under our XTerra. Checked the drain nut and it wasn't even hand tight. Oil was dripping from the sump. Thankfully it didn't fall out and cause an oil slick all over Elizabeth (and ruin our engine). Avoid like the plague.
MM Had snow tires removed to have all season tires put back on. Mechanic put two best tires on right side of car and worst tires on left side of car. I know enough that best of tires should be on same axle, preferably on rear. Had to return for them to do the job right the second time around. They don't seem to be concerned about doing the right job, or they simply don't pay attention to their work on your car. Will not return and suggest you do the same
Car Owner I first went to Big O in Elizabeth to get my truck aligned and balanced. The mechanic did the alignment in about 20 min. I drove my truck and it was pulling hard to the right. I brought my truck back and they rotated the tires and re-aligned it. I drove it again and it still pulled to the right. I brought it back again and they said it must be a problem with the tires (even though I spent almost $1500.00 on top of the line Toyo MT). Elizabeth's Big O!!!! I know why the call it BIG O!!! Lets just say I was "excited" when I saw the deal on Tires and an oil change! It was a quickie also!!! I was able to fit in time to eat and get the car done during my lunch hour!!!!
New Big Foot AT's I went and got tire put on to my SUV. I went with the Big Foot AT. I looked at the Michelins, Hankooks, Cooper, and Bridgestones before I decided on the Big O's. Service was great, they had me in-n-out and I was on my way. The tires are great. Very little road noise for such an aggressive, solid feel, and an aggressive look that I like. With all of that including the warranty that they carry and the price they were I am very pleased.
Honest / Service Oriented We are from California and had a blow out on our 35 foot motorhome just outside of Elizabeth, Colorado. We were lucky to contact BIG O of Elizabeth, CO. They agreed to come right out to us - since we couldn't go anywhere - and were friendly when they arrived. They took the bad tire and its rim off, loaded it into the pickup and drove back to the shop and replaced the tire, drove back and put the new tire on. owner I am the owner of this store. John"s van has over 220,000 miles on it and is almost 11 years old. It already had one broken door handle on it that John says his father in law pulled on "like a gorilla" to have broken it. John sounds like he is in his 50's so that probably makes his father in law in his 70s? Is it really conceivable that a man of this age pulled the door handle unusually hard, or hard enough to break it if it weren't fatigued severely ?
