Str8sinner WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have had to endure from ANY company. On a recent vist for a routine tire service, I first had to return my truck after driving 2 blocks because they never balanced the tires I just paid them to put on my truck. After that I noticed 2 of my 4 rims had been damaged. This was of course denied by the "manager" or who I think was the manager as no names or titles were ever exchanged. Buyer Beware WONT STAND BEHIND THEIR OWN WORK. I have used Big O for years and was generally happy with their level of service but recently things seem to have gone downhill culminating with their most recent debacle which is finally the last straw for me. I recently had them put on my snow tires(purchased from them previously) but after a week the right front slowly goes flat. It might be a puncture but I doubt it. Pleasantly surprised Needed to have a ball joint pressed in as well as bearing races pressed out of a hub. Walked in and dropped it off to a guy in back who said "no problem" and he was done in 15 minutes, didn't charge me a nickel. I'll be back for an alignment and tires for that.
Best Customer Service In The Valley I am glad to see Big O Tires in Basalt are using the "Diagnostic Needs Analysis". I used to use Jiffy Lube in Glenwood Springs and I always liked how the 1)reviewed and gave you a rundown of your vehicle; and 2) offered you free sodas and beverages while you waited. I also appreciated how clean the waiting area was. I would definately recommend Big O tires to my friends and I plan to continue using them in the future for my automotive needs.??
EXTREMELY BAD!!! We are local business owners, and we have taken our fleet of vehicles to Big O every year for new tires, and for changing between winter and summer tires. It is sad to see how bad the service has become at the Basalt Big O Tires over the last couple of years. The previous manager, John, was always helpful, polite, and went out of his way to make sure you were satisfied with his service staff, and got taken care of quickly. He not only addressed my concerns but offered additional services as preventative maintenance. Horrible. They put on my snow tires in the fall and gave me a worn out pare of tires instead of my own (with less than 5,000 miles). I didn't find out until spring because they put the tires in opaque bags. So when I went back today (March) and they told me my all season tires were too worn out to install I went in and found out they are not the same brand as the tires I drove in with last fall. Of course, according to them, they couldn't have made a mistake and I'm trying to scam them!
Great Customer Service I got my tires here intially and had nothing but a good experience with this location. The product quality was fine, the road hazard warranty was honored, and the service was always excellent. Unlike another location this one did not ever reccomend uneccesary or overprice needed mechanical work that they found. I highly reccomend this location if you are in the Basalt area. Pros: Great Customer Service and good product Cons: No complaints.
Big O Tires is Great! Was told by someone around the corner my bushings were worn out on my Rack & Pinion. He quoted me $380 to fix it. I called all around from Rifle to Glenwood and got lower price quotes and less labor charged. Big O did it in an hour, and gave me a credit for the alignment I had just paid for at the other place. Bill Mitchell is the man!
