I walked in to big nose Kate's being a local living in Tombstone yesterday afternoon with the anticipation of drinking to mourn the loss of a friend and I was immediately treated with rudeness by the barmaid Harley, simply because I asked for a little time to see what they had on tap, then after being completely ignored by the barmaid, Dan the other bartender came over and asked me what I wanted so I ordered a drink and several minutes later Harley comes back and says nobody calls me a C**t in my own bar. For a good time... call Kate This bar had it all! We just went in to have a shot of whiskey like the cowboys did... and ended up the stars of the show! The "sheriff" placed us up on the piano with feathers and shotguns alike for a photo op. We even got to do some dancing!
Fun place to be Tombstone is a fun little town in general if you are looking for a weekend gettaway. There is a lot of history, and Big Nose Kate's Saloon is no exception. It was a saloon back in the 1880's and still is. It used to be a brothel as well, a LONG time ago. It is a full bar, and has good food. We love their pizza. Alot of fun When you go to Tombstone, you have to make a stop in to Big Nose Kate's Saloon. Stop by and rest your feet, have something cold to drink or enjoy some food. The place looks and feels like an old west saloon.
RecommendedGreat atmosphere, good music and good food. I had the pastrami sandwhich. We really enjoyed ourselves.

If you’re there with adults to have a few drinks I would recommend the experience. However if you’re there with family to grab dinner I would not recommend it. Food was subpar. Very disappointed with all of the food except the zucchini. That was good even though it came after our meals. The guy playing the keyboard and singing was pretty good too.
Overpriced and food not at ALL like it has been. Will find a new favorite place to eat when in Tombstone.
