My family of three, which includes a 13-year-old daughter did a kayak tour this morning. None of us had ever been in a kayak before. Matt (the guide) kept pace with us the entire time, telling us about everything we could see. My daughter asked tons of questions and got educational answers to everything. We had so much fun and know so much more than we did before the day started. We're planning on doing another one again!

Big Muddy is awesome! I’m grateful that they have kayaks to rent here at Simpson Lake since I don’t have the ability to store and transfer my own kayak. Rates are reasonable, the staff is great, and there’s a ton of wildlife to see at Simpson Lake including a bald eagle’s nest!
