We usually love this place and have a great time. Today was all the same until an incident took place on the round loopy green slide. My 2 year went down, no problem until she got stuck halfway down. She was siting there screaming and then stood up on the slide, i asked the lifeguard what is he was going to do, he kept trying to tell the other lifeguard she was stuck....there was absolutely no communication and they stood there like bumps on a log. I am so sorry to hear from your experience today on the slide, it typically isn’t a common occurrence that someone gets stuck on those slides, protocol for that lifeguard at the bottom of that slide is to be a backup for the bottom of speed slides were there are common occurrences of rescues. I will definitely speak to our aquatics manager and have to create a plan of action in the case that happens again. Again, please accept our apologies and know we will get this handled as our guests safety is our number one priority.

I would like to give a huge shout out to the staff of Big Kahunas. On my way home yesterday in Destin I was a witness to a young lady from Big Kahunas getting hit on her bike on the way to work. Total accident and all parties involved are fine except for minor scrapes and bruises. The young lady asked us to call Big Kahunas for her and they came running.
