My family had a wonderful time on on the Big John. Captain was fantastic in getting on top of the fish, caught some large amberjack, mingos and wahoo. Corey and Denis were extrememly patient with those new to deep sea fishing, very knowledgable and super friendly. Highly recommend the Big John Charters. Will definitely charter with them on our next trip.
What an amazing day! I am no skilled fisherman but the crew helped us along the way and we got some great catches! Very knowledgeable on the best fishing locations to ensure we didn't go home empty handed! Cannot reccommend Big John enough! 5 stars for sure and definitely our GO TO fishing charter on the Emerald Coast!!
We are a family of 4 with a 13 yo girl and 11 yo boy, Captain Reed & our deck hand “Moose” were AWESOME! We took an 8 hour charter that allowed about 4 hours of actual fishing time as we went about 25 miles out to our fishing spots and then searched around for the fish once out to sea. The boat is great, well maintained, cold AC and fishing gear all worked well. Big John was our first charter fishing experience and did not disappoint. Captain Chris kept us on fish, and Dennis and Cory could not have been more helpful. It was an awesome experience, and I highly recommend. And the fish tacos at night were awesome!
