Apparently, there is a consensus that there are two gentlemen who sit behind a counter, who clearly work here, and who pay more attention to their phones than to customers. It was weird. When I spotted them, I laughed with my husband because they looked like they were part of a display. Maybe it's part of the culture. A great antique store with a nice selection of beautiful pieces at fair prices. What’s great is that it’s an actual antique store that has antiques and isn’t just a resale shop like 90% of other so called antique places. The owners are super friendly and helped us load up what we bought. It’s off the Strand but is a must see if you are in downtown Galveston.
My husband and I walked in and we were the only ones in the store. The two me behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge us, but we continued to look around. They have beautiful pieces but extremely overpriced.
Clean. Lots of stuff. NOT mobility friendly.
