Check in was at 3 pm wouldn't let us check in any earlier. Room was dirty when we got there trash piled up, hair on bed, used tampon and towel in bathroom. Didn't get the queen bed I asked for due to being packed but I booked two months ahead of time . Parking always booked hard to get out of. But I guess they cleaned it when we asked but didn't offer anything else. No breakfast paid 400 bucks.
The best thing about the place is convenience. It's a good deal I'd stayed here 4 years ago with the previous owners, and knew how convenient it was to the RMNP, the City of Grand Lake and its "holiday" activities. I am not fond of the DIY format for check-in and check-out. No one ever answers the phone to make a reservation or for any pre-arrival questions. Always got voice mail. I’ve stayed in better dorm rooms…left without staying and got flipped off on our way out! Nope wouldn’t recommend this place…we drove the 3 hours to go home! Never, EVER!!!
I have stayed at other places in this area, and this place seems well run, clean and efficient. The room I got was quite nice.
