Nice quiet place at the entrance to town can walk or drive to the marina and beach with plenty of restaurants and shopping on the way.
Big Horn Lodge – A Hidden Gem in Grand Lake! I booked Big Horn Lodge last minute, truly not expecting much, especially the week before the Fourth of July. Our original anniversary plans had fallen through, and this was our backup—but it ended up being an absolute win. I’ll admit, the online reviews had me skeptical. The room was extremely average. Motel 6 quality. Not worth $300 a night. Never saw anyone in the office to give us refills for our coffee. Never saw the hot tub open. The people in the room next door to us had a fridge that didn't work.
Hotel was functional. For $220 a night I thought drinking glasses, coffee, waste basket in bathroom and less than a sketchy carpet would be what I would find. Will not stay here again.
