When we know we're traveling through Ashdown, we try to make sure we time it to stop here. My favorite is either the Big Nasty Fries or Big Nasty Baked Potato with chopped beef. I always have more for later. The sausage has a breakfast sausage kind of flavor, but still good. The sides are okay. Nothing exciting but not bad. The staff is friendly. The dining room is always clean.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick dinner while on the road. This is a great little place! The pulled pork was delicious, the mashed potatoes were homemade, and the baked beans had a great taste. We will come back the next time we are this way. Our server was sweet and attentive and took good care of us. We loved the patriotic theme and cozy feel.
