Big Fin Charters' Captain Michael is the most competent captain I've ever met. This trip was a special one for the family and it could not have went better than it did. We went from the parking lot to reeling in the first of many fish in about 45 min. We landed Spotted Trout, two Blacktip sharks, Black Sea Bass, a few Redfish just barely over the limit size, and cooler full of flounder. Just completed by first fishing charter with Big Fin yesterday. Ty was an excellent Captain and worked hard keeping everyone in the water. He put us on the fish immediately first line hit the water fish on. We caught 11 Spanish Mackerel within the first hour. Then he took us to find the Red Fish which are great fun to catch. We reeled about 4 of those in. We chose the 4 hr 11:30 until 3:30 and it was an amazing day for my God Son and his GF visiting for the week. Half-day fishing the jetties for flounder on a nice boat with a friendly, knowledgeable crew. We caught lots of smaller fish and one 32 inch Red Drum that we couldn't keep. Ended up with about six pounds of beautiful flounder fillets that were fried to perfection about 30 minutes later at the Salty Pelican. A great fishing trip ending with the freshest, tastiest fish tacos possible! Definitely going to do this again!
Great day!! Caught King Mackerel, grouper, snapper, cobia and many others. Captain and mate are great people!
