Michela and the whole family are superb hosts and care so much for their facilities and territory. Their passion for stewardship of the Cumberland Delta is infectious, and their deep knowledge of the land and how to care for it is unparallelled. If you want an incredible getaway and a chance to learn and experience the incredible place that is the Cumberland Delta, then I highly recommend you get in touch and book a visit. 5/5 stars, 10/10 people.
My time at Big Eddy Lodge filled my soul with peace, love, quietude, and commaradarie. The land feels so supportive and healing. The Carrieres are incredible hosts and have created a cozy environment to escape the winter cold. I'm looking forward to visiting here in the summer some time soon!
Sometimes a place you never expected, can become a favorite. When I reflect on my moments in time there, I find they bring a smile to my face, and a yearning to return. Big Eddy, the place and the people, has done that for me. I can witness to the fact that you won't leave the same as you arrived.
