Years ago I used to buy Big Easy Chicken and Sausage Gumbo when I didn’t want to prepare my own. I stopped because they raised the price. I decided Today 6/4/2026 I bought a bowl. It claimed to be 12oz. The bowl was less than halfway full. So it has gone up in price and reduced the portion as well. I no longer have a appetite for Big Easy products.
These were my go to lunches for work. Loved the chicken and sausage gumbo. And the red beans and sausage. The price was unbeatable at $2.78. Noone could come close to those prices. Then boom couldn't find them at Ingles grocery stores anymore. Do they still even make these now? Would love to find them in stores again.

Tried a bag of the pre breaded catfish fillets and they were awful,must all be from old,fat flat heads,meat was fatty and strong. Maybe ya'll should get smaller fish to fillet,Sorry,I will not be purchasing Big Easy brand again over here in east Texas...
The last 2 packs of Wal-Mart frozen catfish fillets are so nasty they stink up the house and you can't eat them. I don't know what's wrong because they never tasted like that before. I think there's some fat or something you're supposed to remove to keep it from being such a horrible nasty strong trash fish taste. All the others I've bought in the past were good.
