Update 9/24/2025 As a returning customer, I can say with absolute confidence that Big Dog is the best moving company in the Madison area, bar none. After doing my due diligence and getting quotes from several other companies, I was frankly disappointed by the lack of integrity and customer service I encountered. Great movers and CJ and Jon were very friendly! Moved our large furniture pieces without damaging them.
They showed up hours late after asking if they could postpone to a later date, on the day of the move. During the move they laughed in our face that we would be paying them more because our elevator was slow. In the end the price was nearly double what we were quoted and we had moved several boxes, bins, plants and disassembled furniture on our own before they arrived. I suspect that they were taking longer on purpose. After leaving a bad review the owner Mike called and harassed us to edit or delete the review until we had ... read more
