Big Dan's was awesome. Stayed at the lodge and spent a day out halibut fishing. Can't recall name of the boat but it is 🤯. Recommended for anyone interested in fishing the Kenai or staying in soldatna. Dan and his wife, who's name escapes me, are terrific. Cabins are very well equipped and clean. You can't go wrong.

Repeat Guests Say It All - What a fun summer filling our freezers and enjoying three (of four) different boats with Big Dan’s Fishing Charters. Always top notch Captains and Crew to help you get the fish each time. This year we also stayed at the Riverfront Lodge in the one bedroom cabin. Clean, modern and comfortable with a full kitchen that even allowed me to bake a cake from scratch. Kenai River fishing from docks with a fileting station and easy river access is a plus.
