I purchased a Candock system from Steve at Big Daddy Docks and it was one of the best experiences I had in 2025, seriously. He is such a nice guy that I wish I has paid for him to install the dock just so we could hang out (summer 2026 steve you can come hang out and laugh with me at my handiwork when I purchase some upgrades) Also, I would have avoided the problems I encountered durring my DIY install (it was more like a DWI; drunk while installing). Big Daddy’s is as a great place to deal with on the purchase of my dock. Steven was very accommodating and let me know when order was to be picked up. Very helpful with h the delivery. Installation and the weight of the sections is quite reasonable. Would recommend Big Daddy’s.
Our experience with Big Daddy's Docks was great right from the start because of Steven's excellent communication skills. Steven sets clear expectations of when he'll be able to get back to you with a thorough response, which isn't something we've found with many contractors up in cottage country. Steve and his team at Big Daddy's Docks were great to deal with. Steve came out to our place several times to measure and present different options to us. We ordered late fall to be installed first thing the following spring. True to his word, he had it the water the first week of May. Thank you Steve and team. We love our new Big Daddy's dock !
Stephen (Big Daddy) was terrific to work with! Knowledgeable, friendly, responsive… you can tell he loves what he does. And we love our new dock!
