Quiet, open campground. We stayed in tents, so unsure how the cabins are. I came here a lot as a kid and loved it. It seems to now be mostly full of long term campers & RVs which ruins the experience a bit. Felt like staying in a trailer park. The lake is beautiful and the kids had fun fishing (tho it is only catch and release). The club house was locked even tho it is listed as an amenity (pool table, etc). Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We have spent the last 2ish years at big buck. The staff is incredible and the owner goes out of her way to make sure you are taken care of and feel like home. There are 2 lakes, a shooting range, off road trails for sxs/4wheelers/etc, walking trails (the road around the main lake is just shy of a mile) the pool is great during the summer. Is the park "perfect " to some peoples standards? Probably not but for us, we had a spot with barely anyone by us and we were left alone 🤷♀️ it was peaceful, we could walk our dogs in ... read more
Very dated park..owner needs to update picnic tables, grills, playground and campsites..didn't get to use the pool due to off season so can't comment on that. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Great place to relax go camping. Trails ponds and hiking really fun thanks Tina for everything great people
Cabin was tidy. Has direct TV. Shooting range. 2 beautiful lakes you can fish in and off road paths for side by sides and a pool. Deffinently an outdoors person one stop shop. If Tina doesn't have it, there's a nearby dollar store that sells beer and groceries. As far as campsite/resorts go, this one offers the most I've ever been to.
