Big Apple Bagels in Forest Lake was a very pleasant stop. The restaurant was clean, well maintained, and had a bright, welcoming feel. The entrance opens into a shared space with a coffee shop and a flower shop, which made the whole experience a little more enjoyable. While waiting for my food, I was able to walk through the floral shop and browse, which was a nice bonus and made the wait feel effortless. Usually takes a long time to get your order which is fine. Today they are short staffed and did not tell people as they ordered that they were running behind and taking even longer to get orders out. Also one male staff member did not visibly change his gloves after answering the phone, or getting a drink for himself.
Know before you go. This location will not make your selection in a bowl, and the cashier was very blunt about it. No low carb options are available.
