I found Sonam and Big Apple Art recommended in an nyc wedding group. I went to her a few times before my wedding and was so impressed. I’ve since had her do my wedding nails and have continued to come back for regular manis. Sonam is super knowledgeable about products, nail health, and proper technique. This review is for the artist Carolina Deiris. This was the worse nail experience I've ever had. I believe this nail artist needs to be evaluated for health and safety standards. 1) She cut me multiple times when trimming my cuticles, to the point of bleeding. 2) She used the nail file drill on my cuticles, burning them all the way around. This was not on accident - every nail was done this way. She then went over the raw skin with the buff too. 3) While cleaning my nails with alcohol, she further burned my raw skin. I’ve had an amazing returning experience at Big Apple Art. Carolina does beautiful work every time, and my natural nails have become strong and healthy since seeing her. The products are top quality, and the service is excellent! 💅🏾

sonam is the absolute best! she is so talented, cares so much about her clients health and experience, uses exclusively non-toxic supplies, has all the trendy stuff, and uses LED instead of UV light. i couldn’t recommend her enough (even tho i don’t want it to get harder to book with her than it already is!)
