Took my xy in to sort out an ongoing issue I've had for years with my clutch/gear box. AL diagnosed the issue on the spot. Sorted out my starting problems as well. I wish I found this guy earlier. Love your work, Al and was a pleasure getting to know you. Highly recommend.
Alan was recommended to me and I can't speak more highly of the experience. I asked Alan to rebuild the engine from my 73 Mustang. Throughout the process he remained in contact as we worked through the condition of the engine and options for the rebuild. The photo updates helped to feel closer to the process. Will not go anywhere else, I love the no frills just get it done approach, his knowledge is unreal - I’ve been for thee different things, all well done BUT also knowing when to stop, I just love the pragmatism, sure everything can be fixed but does it need to be as you chase the last 3% to complete a perfect car. My 66 will never see another shop, in this day and age all we after is honesty, and delivering on the promise, sounds simple but is very hard to find these days. I’d recommend big Al everyday of the week ………
At short notice, I took my ‘65 Mustang to Big Al. It’s never run that well having been to some other mechanics. I brought the car from Mudgee to Sydney to Big Al’s. Three days later, all the bits and pieces fixed and the car runs like it never has before. Al did a great job, my ‘65 won’t ever see another mechanic.
