Came here to kick off our first time in Nashville and it did not disappoint! Great food, homey atmosphere and the owner Al is the friendliest man. Never seen anything like it in the North. It’s like Sunday morning in the kitchen with your dad cooking. It’s on the small side for seating but bursting with favor and hospitality. Definitely the place to go if you want a good local southern home cooked meal. 10/10 best biscuits I’ve ever had. Highly recommend to any traveler looking for a good local spot.
THE FOOD WAS AWFUL
Talk about old school. This is the best true throw back joint ever! But it’s a perfect for breakfast and to grab good food. No frills just a great vibe! Please keep is a secret as not to ruin it.
Best shrimp and grits I've ever had. Maybe on planet earth. "Al" remembered us from our last trip a year ago and I think he was just as excited to see us as we were him. Couldn't recommend more!! Please go support him! 10/10
