Stopped into Big Agnes in Steamboat. I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff and product knowledge. I bought a down coat and will visit again, probably even on this Steamboat visit!
I’ve had two very disappointing experiences with warranty and repair. I had a zipper on the rain fly go bad, they repaired it and it broke again first time out. I sent it back again and they told me it was not repairable so they offered me 40% off retail of a new tent. Which is ridiculous. The warranty is useless, it’s a trap to make you buy more product from them. I have several BA tents but I will not be supporting this company anymore. I've loved BAP for years and stop by every time I'm in town. The folks working are knowledgeable and friendly and the gear is top-notch. The front country and backpacking tents I've gotten here have been excellent quality and I won't hesitate to keep looking to them for more outdoor rec gear in the future. It's also cool to sneak a peak in the back at the sewing room while you're in the store!

Really friendly and kind staff! Looking back now, I wish I caught his name. The guy that helped me went above and beyond. I was looking for a Big Six armchair, hoping there might be a discounted one leftover from their sale or a refurbished one lingering about. He checked in the back, let me know when they usually get refurbished ones in, told me when their next sale would be, and provided an email to check in with from time to time to see if they got any in. They’re goods are just as high quality as their staff
