I usually don't go here for sport equipment or apparel. But I had to go during my lunch to buy my son some stirrups and baseballs. I found a great deal on baseballs , but they don't carry stirrups. They do not have a variety of different sports items. I was disappointed , as usual.
Walking into this store causes fits of claustrophobia and constant urges to straighten up. It's a mess! The customer service is questionable. I'll drive over to the other big sporting goods store and pay more just to avoid the feeling that I should help them put some stuff away.
Service is not great and selection is spotty. They will tell you that they have a great return policy and take anything back. When I returned an item the manager grilled me.
Great spot for athletic shoes for the whole family. Check online for coupons before you go. They always have something on sale and clearance. I have always been able to get at least another 10% off with coupon.
Big 5 has an incredible selection of equipment and clothing for way more than 5 sports. We have almost always been able to find what our son needed for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball.
This store is pretty cool. They're a bit pricey but their clearance is good. Everything we have ever bought has lasted.
Oh my! This store is way to old and small for everything they sell. I'd hate to get caught in there if there was an earthquake. The biggest problem is that they rarely have what we are looking for, despite the floor-to-ceiling products. I prefer the competitors even though I always try again to support the smaller stores.
