Good for the basics We always go to Big 5 when the kids need soccer or t-ball supplies. I know they will have mid-range stuff at good prices. They don't usually carry anything fancy or high-end, but if all you need is a good tennis racquet or a new basketball, Big 5 is great.
Sometimes there are great prices At times I can walk in this store and come out with a great bargain at other times I do not find good deals. It just depends on when I go. They tend to have great clearance items if you can manage to get there before they are gone. The customer service is pretty good, and the store is always exceptionally clean and organized.
Great store! I have always had good experiences here. Occasionally they will have sale items out of stock, but the management has always substitued for something similar or given me a raincheck. They are very nice and helpful here.
Not bad Nothing bad to say but nothing exciting either. They have a decent selection of items. Best thing is they always have sales and you can get killer deals on shoes which is great!
expensive went there to find hand weights and they had a poor selection. no one came to see if i needed help and also the weights that they did have were ridiculously over priced. what are they thinking.
Good place to go I have been going to Big 5 for as long as I can remember to get all of my sporting goods. In fact, I was just there last week to buy some tennis balls. They have practically you could ever need, no matter what sport you play or participate in. They often have regular sales on their shoes, but it can sometimes get messy and crowded. Staff is friendly though and parking shouldn't be a problem.
Big 5 Big 5 is a smaller sporting goods store. They always have good discounts on shoes, with ads to check out in the newspaper. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.
Left all alone I visited your store Saturday, 8/21/10 around 2:00pm. I was very dissatisfied. I was not greeted as I entered the store. I wasn"t helped and needed help finding some football cleets. There were three or four workers standing around talking. After getting disgusted I left the store. I mentioned this to my co-workers they told me that's the way they are in Big 5. I was almost glad to know it wasn't because I'm African-American. They just don't care no matter what race you are.
Never again! I was in this store on 08/04/2011 at approximately 10:05 am, and can say with some certainty that this is by far the worst experience I have ever had while shopping. I can't even remember the last time I was treated so rudely - by anyone - and will not be coming back to Big5 ever again. Upon entering the store, ungreeted, I went straight to the guns and knives counter - I was mainly looking for ammunition, but would've picked up a rifle had the price been right. When I got there, a younger girl approached me and... read more
