We had a great experience at the Burr Oak Village Apartments while we were in-between houses. From the beginning, Ruth was friendly, responsive, and very communicative. During our lease, management frequently sent out emails to all residents with reminders of rules, behavior and the importance of being neighborly to one another - it's disappointing they even had to do that, but I appreciated them trying to control situations. Terrible place to rent; shady business practices in my experience. Management changed multiple times throughout the year I was there. We were told we could go month-to-month after our initial contract; however, after the year was up the new manager said company policy changed, and they could no longer do it. I spoke with the corporate office who essentially confirmed the manager was just lying. The manager then refused to meet in person. The vast amount of terrible reviews should say enough. My fiancée rented through them. Had the garage door malfunction and smash the top of her vehicle repeatedly. You can see in the attached image the damage was on the top of the vehicle, not the front. This clearly shows the garage door came down on top of her car. Not her driving into the garage door. When looping in her insurance the property manager did not respond with the information asked for. Belinski then sent it to collections saying she was at fault for the fault... read more

February 2025 will mark my 2nd year leasing with Bielinski Mgt. Highly efficient and professional management team. The property is well maintained by a fantastic team.
