Showed up at 5:57am this morning and there were already 9 people in line. The employee showed up at 6:09am and the doors were finally opened with now 20 people in line. We all signed in and it started to move along but then really slowed down. Two people on and I was finally called in at 6:50am. Phlebotomist was pleasant and took care of me quickly, while leaving I found that the same people were still waiting in their waiting area, now 7:00am. Not great for people who need to get to work. I had a great experience here. Waiting room was full when I got in but I was still seen in 15 minutes. I have a fear of needles and forgot to warn them of my typical response to having blood drawn (passing out). However, even when I started to turn pale I was treated with nothing but concern for my well being. The staff are extremely considerate and professional, 10/10 experience.
A three-hour wait is unacceptable. With 9 people in the waiting room at 7am within an hour of opening, they took in only one person within 20 minutes. One gentleman had waited for over an hour and still had not been seen. One person seen every 20 minutes calculates to a wait time of three hours. A complete waste of time. I had to leave without getting my test and was late for work as a result of the wait. One woman said she had never waited so long. Not sure why people have been complaining. I showed up at 9:30am and had no problem getting in and out quickly. I had about 5 people ahead of me but still only waited maybe 15 minutes? Phlebotomist was professional and nice. She did her best to make the process go smoothly and painlessly even though my veins aren't easy to find or draw from.
