Great Repair/Service Dept. The repair shop is second to none for high end bikes. I have a Specialized Tarmac Pro road bike with Dura Ace components. I changed out my rear cassette and was having trouble with the shifting not being smooth. I took it over to Performance Bikes (formerly Super Go) after the repair technician assessed the problem he said it would take apprx. 2wks for me to get my bike back. I said NO THANKS! Looking for a Bike - Check this Out We have three children, and over the past ten years have purchased approximately 8 bicycles at this location for our family. They have a great selection at reasonable prices. They also have a good repair department and numerous accessories. The employees are very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this shop for future purchases.
Large selection of bikes! Just down the street from Supergo, which caters to high end bikes, Bicycle Discovery has a large selection of affordable bikes for anyone in the family. Their selection of accessories is good, too. We bought a tandem beach cruiser from them. Their repair staff is fine for "regular" bikes, but I do not recommend them for recumbents - mine was purchased elsewhere. Bicycle Discovery ruined my Dahon I took my bike into Bicycle Discovery for a loose stem post on Thurs. I spoke to the guy with the ponytail at the service area. I explained that there was a little play in the stem post which makes my front wheel shimmy and somewhat dangerous to ride. He pushed down on my handlebars and turned the wheel side to side and he tried to tell me to just push forward on the handlebars and I should be able to ride the bike. Bicycle Discovery has the worst customer service We went in to purchase a bike for our son. The person helping didn't seem to care much whether we buy the bike or not ($300 boy's mountain bike) and kept disappearing. We decided to buy the bike anyway. We forgot to ask about their return/exchange policy until after we had paid. Another salesman, who wasn't working with us, yanked the receipt from my wife's hand, first pointed at the return policy on the bottom, and then grabbed a pen and circled the area, all the time without... read more
