My mom became a resident of Bickford in Crystal Lake almost 10 months ago. We know this is the best place for her physical and cognitive needs. The staff truly care, are kind and they always make time for me when I have a question or concern. They always call me when there is any change in her condition or medications. I know my mom, at age 98, is safe and that gives me peace of mind.
Beware of unscrupulous business practices relating to bait and switch, dishonesty and pressure tactics employed by their sales representative. Such an awful experience we were floored.
This place has just lost the best thing about it once again due to poor management. The ED had a personal vendetta against the sweetest, kindest, most loving person there. The Activity dept and a few select CNAs were the only good thing about Bickford. Rhonda poured her heart and soul into each and every resident and did her ultimate best to improve their lives. Unfortunately the higher ups don't care as long as the money keeps rolling in and they get their bonuses. All this while they cut pay, hours and bonuses for the staf... read more
You and your staff don't know how to CORRECTLY take care of a member of a family! Omg I should SUE your company for the lack of knowledge that you and your staff have! 0/10! -5/5 stars! If you love your family, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY WILL DIE HERE, AND THE STAFF DO NOT CARE AT ALL!....especially the management.
