I toured there recently with a friend. dawn was the person that toured us and she was kind, knowledgeable and put us at ease. The community was also aesthetically pleasing. The staff that were there were so friendly and stopped to talk to us and say hi. Dawn, the person that gave us a tour found out that my friend‘s dad loves sweets. She talked to the kitchen manager, who brought us out a plate of fresh made cookies at the end of the tour. The kindness and encouragement shown to my elderly mother is very touching and so appreciated. Michell, the Activities Coordinator, recently went out of her way to encourage my mom to go to an offsite luncheon at beautiful Anderson Japanese Gardens, which also had lovely musical entertainment for the guests. My mom loves music and nature, and was a new person after she came home from this outing! She raved about how wonderful it was. It's moments like these that make me overwhelmingly grateful that my mom is at Bickford!

I live at Bickford House and my sister lived here before me.I was here often when she lived here and so I was very familiar with this facility before I moved in. I have a spacious apartment with a full kitchen. I have windows in my bedroom so my cat is very content to lay in there watching all that is going on outside. Very content here!

The family advisor. Dawn was such a help as we were looking for a place for a friend.. She was very knowledgeable and cheerful, and as we walked through the branch, we couldn’t help but feel the love from the other caregivers that were there. It looks like a resort it was very clean and fresh and bright. Their approach to keeping seniors healthier longer through the higher path is groundbreaking and it’s something that all community should follow that deal with seniors-well done Bickford!

I’m asked at time to do maintenance work for Bickford. It is such a joy to be there around the residents and the staff. Actually It’s hard to think of them as residents and staff. I feel like I’m around a large family when I’m there and I should know, I came from a family of 10 children, When I am there it just makes me feel like home. It’s also a nice place to visit even if I’m not doing maintenance work.
