The family advisor. Dawn was such a help as we were looking for a place for a friend.. She was very knowledgeable and cheerful, and as we walked through the branch, we couldn’t help but feel the love from the other caregivers that were there. It looks like a resort it was very clean and fresh and bright. Their approach to keeping seniors healthier longer through the higher path is groundbreaking and it’s something that all community should follow that deal with seniors-well done Bickford!
I’m asked at time to do maintenance work for Bickford. It is such a joy to be there around the residents and the staff. Actually It’s hard to think of them as residents and staff. I feel like I’m around a large family when I’m there and I should know, I came from a family of 10 children, When I am there it just makes me feel like home. The process to get my mom into this facility was so easy. Dawn spent a lot of time with my sisters and I working with our finances and making sure the move in process was explained and run smoothly. The care is excellent! There is an abundance of staff that come by and check on my mom and meet her needs. The quality of food at each meal is excellent, starting with a salad, entree and dessert. Went there today to check it out. How it is rated 4.9 stars is beyond me. It was so dirty! Papers,kleenex, and food scraps on the floor. Carpets look like they havnt been cleaned in years. Even the office area wasn't vacuumed. The people were friendly but not a chance. If they don't care about the environment in which they work or people live in what would make me think my loved one would be well taken care of. Big pass.
I've worked here for 4 days already and everyone is sweet. Residents staff and all. Thank you very much.
