My experience was HORRIFYING, PEOPLE IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER AT ALL, DO NOT SEND THEM TO BICKFORD! My poor Mother has a BEDSORE ON HER SO BAD , HOSPICE HAD TO BE CALLED TO CARE FOR IT! PLUS my SON went to see his Grandma and she WAS NEAR DEAD. HE MADE THEM CALL THE SQUAD. AND THE HEAD NURSE TOLD HIM THEY WERE SHORT STAFFED!!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE She NOW is getting the care she had been needing long ago. SO, PLEASE. THINK TWICE. BEFORE PUTTING ONE OF YOUR LOVED ONES IN THIS ZOOK

My dad has been a resident here for awhile now. He has severe dementia. It's rough watching him go through this. Bickford and it's staff does an amazing job at caring for him. He could not be at a better place. The staff members are long term. Most have been there for many years. They actually care about their residents and family's. If you have concerns, there is always someone that you can address that with promptly. We appreciate all they do.

June 2024::Mom has the best assisted living care at Bickford of Middletown. Bickford has the best activities and events each month. Just last month was Mother's Day Brunch prepared by in house Chef Marisa and her culinary staff. The presentation and food was absolutely wonderful for the residents and their families. This month is a Father's Day Cookout ! Can't wait ! The entire staff (administration, nursing, aides, culinary team and staff) is so professional, friendly and thoughtful with each resident. This place has been amazing! They have taken such great care of my mother the last few years all the way until the end. Every time that I am there visiting all of the staff have been very attentive, kind and caring to all the people that are living there. I could have not done a better job myself and I owe them a huge debt. Keep up the amazing work that you do!!!!

Mother was a resident for 4 weeks in assisted living. Care not consistent, sporadic. My mother needed assistance with toileting which while I was there and a witness on majority of the days no one checked in her. I don't know if it's because I was there, but Bickford was receiving lots of money to care for my mother. If I was not present I don't know what type of care she would have received. Food was so, so.
