Decided to move mom in there and had them hold the bed for 1 day then changed our minds. Took 3 months to get a refund and they kept $440 of it. Bad communication with Jori, who actually hang up on me when I tried to get refund. Bad management.

Communication is horrible. Initial tour and meeting went well. Was excited to move forward. Once I paid the deposit communication stopped for 2 weeks. The representative from A Place for Mom had to step in to get the ball rolling again. I should have followed my gut and walked away then, but I was desperate to get my loved one placed. I was an Employee. They treat there staff with so much disrespect. They never did anything for employees, never recognized during housekeeping week, cna week, nurse week or even at Christmas time. Jori would be rude, role her eyes at you and get smart.
