Bickford of Lancaster is a wonderful community. The food is great, the activities are always fun and engaging, and the staff is incredibly caring. You can feel how much they truly value the residents.
My grandmother Karen Martin is staying here, they had us pay extra because she tried leaving the facility a couple times so forced us to upgrade and spend around $11,000 out of pocket a month to send her to a different special department where they’re suppose to be keeping a closer eye on her. Instead they still allow her to escape, so instead of having someone watch her closely they just drug her up and now she’s so tired that she’s gained over 80 pounds in less than 6 months.
