Horrible management and they ignore people here. They do pay more then $17. Try to see if yell can get more.
I’d like to take a moment to discuss my experience with this place. Unfortunately, I’ve found the staff to be quite unprofessional, and the CNAs' behavior is concerning. It’s alarming that there are only one or two pages of information for the entire facility. Additionally, residents are allowed to go down to the dining room in their pajamas, and it often takes an excessively long time for staff to attend to them. READ BEFORE YOU SIGN. We thought we had five days after signing the contract to change our minds. Not true. We were charged $2,150 and never stepped foot in Bickford.
Food services are terrible for my mother and she has been getting treated like a problem. They are trying to increase prices in all areas while not even attempting to bring back any of the amenities that they promised. My mother (disabled vet) can not even get rides that were supposed to be part of the contract to her VA appointments
Deciding to move a loved one from independent to assisted living is not an easy journey. Especially when up against an end-of-lease situation. Abby made things happen quickly (which we know is not the norm) and the entire team at Bickford showed compassion, respect, and caring – both to our father and to us as we made the transition.
