I cannot thank Mr. Bibee enough for his incredible help with my recent traffic ticket. After losing control of my car due to rain and hitting a guard rail, I was unfairly ticketed for an unsafe lane change. I couldn’t attend the court date for personal reasons but Mr. Bibee stepped in and represented me in court, securing the best possible outcome. Very rude man. I was referred to Wayne Bibee by the Virginia Bar Association. He answered the phone himself which I was surprised because most lawyers have a secretary answer calls. I told him I was surprised by that. I was very polite to this man. I asked him his background as I needed a specific kind of lawyer for habeas corpus. When he told me he was a former prosecutor I told him I wasn't comfortable with that because of my past lawyer being a former prosecutor. I had an accident on my motorcycle due to conditions of the road, but was given a reckless driving ticket "for failure to maintain my vehicle." This is a serious charge and I could end up paying high risk insurance for several years. I didn't want to take a chance representing myself. Mr. Bibee spent a great deal of time speaking with me and getting all the details while understanding my desire to be completely free of any charges. He was able to do just that. I am very greatful for his ability in the courtroom.
The review by Botetourt General District Court took a long length of time since the date of speeding ticket violation to dismiss the charges from my speeding ticket violation, but I am pleased that these charges were dismissed.
