I would have given Biba a higher rating for the haircut itself. I have had many haircuts from the Belgrave salon location over the years and have been happy with the attention to detail, however, on my most recent visit, I was subjected to the male hairdresser (and owner, Peter) and the client finishing up before me having a very degrading misogynistic conversation about women, within very close earshot of myself. I cannot speak highly enough of my recent experience at Biba Salon in Richmond, in particular Peter! I have been to so many salons in Melbourne who haven't been able to get the blonde I was looking for right. A colleague recommended Peter as the go to for blonde in Melbourne and all I can say is I wish I had found him sooner! Peter took the time to sit down with me and truly listened to what I wanted and talked me through how we could achieve what I wanted. (cover the grey, make it look natural and expensive looking lol!)
