I was first pleased with my surgery by Dr. Patel. After being released I bent over to pick up a light weight grocery bag, I immediately felt searing pain throughout my spine. I called and made an immediate appointment, upon arrival I was told I had an expensive co pay. I never had a co pay before, the receptionist told me I couldn't be seen without paying the co pay. I had to leave without being seen. Very disappointed!

Been trying to get these people to send my mother's records to her new doctor in Reno where she moved for WEEKS. But apparently making sure my mother can continue having her BRAIN TUMORS treated is not a good enough reason to do their job. This is the problem with medical practices in this country everyone is just a number. Do better.

For two years now, I have been contemplating on sending this review. I had spinal fusion and overall I was satisfied with the surgery. I had no false hopes that I would be good as new considering my age and degree of deterioration. Considering that Dr Bianco’s staff is a reflection on him, I can only offer a 1 star review. Came to Dr. Patel dilapidated, nerve issues with extremity unreliable. Without these resolved, my career, over. An ACDF later and after 32 weeks, I have been able to excel without pronounced nerve damage. The pain and recovery are minimal. Amongst my many surgeries in the past, this was by far the easiest to recover from. Dr Patel, a gifted surgeon, is easy to talk to and has a great team backing him up. Would not consider seeing anyone else.
