Best Family Dinner, Great Cocktails, Great Customer Service – I am originally from Waltham but have since moved to the West coast, but I can not say how thrilled I am to see the Italian Fine Dining Tradition carried out so well by Biagio's here in Waltham. I am a really picky eater, and we came with kids, so we really put the our server to the test. They were very patient and the restaurant was very accomodating. They had wonderful appetizer pizzas, and I must say I was very fond of the Halibut en Brodo, a special that I tho... read more
Best Food, Best Late Night – I have been living in Waltham for some time now, and I frequent Solea, however the other night I thought I would give Biagio's a try. Well, I can say that I will be coming here a lot more often. They have incredible food and a huge selection of appetizers that went great with my many cocktails. I sat in their lounge upstairs but eventually moved on to the patio. The servers are very accomodating and friendly and the bartenders are open, friendly, and efficient. I never had to wait too long for an... read more
great food, fantastic wine list, fun on any occasion – I've frequented Biagio's a few times and always had a good time. The first time I went was for a catered event upstairs and the food was great! The buffet was huge and encompassing, making it possible for vegetarians or kosher (not mixing meat and cheese) patrons to have plenty to eat. The music was great, and the upstairs bar even has a patio. The second time I went to Biagios, I ate a more formal dinner downstairs that was also very enjoyable. It seems that their speci... read more
Great Place to Relax and Hang Out – My brother took four of us out for my wife's birthday. We got there and were seated comfortably and right away. They have a great selection of wine by the glass, we all tried different ones and voted their Dante Cabernet S. the tastiest. If you dine here, come hungry and prepare to leave full, everything is tasty and they give generous portions. All of the salads were fresh and not over dressed and they had quite a selection of specials as well. I tried the Veal Chop... WOW. After a great ... read more
Avoid when busy – We went to Biagio's to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Bentley. While I could see good things going on around us, unfortunately it wasn't at our table. We were placed at a table that did not have decent clearance around it. A man at the neighboring table was constantly leaning against me, the wait staff had to lean on, over and against me throughout the evening while serving ohter tables it was so bad that I would constantly have to stop eating while they were leaning against me. My crab stuffed Co... read more
Wonderful Lobster Ravioli and Pizza – I agree that the service here can be poor but I always find it amusing when it is. The service is never slow; I would say some of the waitstaff are characters. The food is well above average and worth any hiccups we've had with the service. It is the best on Moody Street and they even have parking, another perk. They have the best Lobster Ravioli my husband has ever tasted and the antipasto is wonderful. It is large and has a good mix of cheese, meat, and veggies. The pizza is some of th... read more
A couple of weeks I had my husband's 30th Birthday upstairs at the Lounge at Biagio's restaurant in Waltham! It was the perfect place to have the party! The ambiance was relaxing, classy and plush...just like its name. The food was fabulous and the service was exceptional. All of guest were highly impressed and Anthony, the owner made us feel like royalty. Our experience was first class from the food to the atmosphere to the martini's. This is must have for any classy occasion!
Great Food and beautiful lounge – We went to a party held at Biagio and it was excellent. The party was held in the upstairs lounge. It was very tastefully decorated in deep colors...very classy! The big cozy sectional sofas with lots of pillows were so comfortable. The bartenders were great and the servers were also. The food....wow....fabulous! After attending this party we can't wait to go back for dinner! We highly recommend Biagio for a party in the lounge and dinner in the dining room. We also met the owners as they co... read more
The chef can't cook! – Me and my boyfriend went to diner here tonight. We have been there once before, I ordered a dish that had mushrooms, which i dont like, so i asked if i could have peas, they said yes. When i got my meal the peas tasted like they hadnt been cooked, rock hard, i thought it might have just been because i made a "special request". So, we decided we would try it again. I ordered the tortellini, which has prosiutto and peas- THE PEAS WERE ROCK HARD AGAIN! On top oft that my boyfriend got the swordfish that h... read more
