Absolutely Wonderful – After my first time eating at Biaggi's, I quickly proclaimed it my favorite restaurant in the Triangle. Each time I return, that "fact" is reiterated. The food is wonderful (try the Spinach Salad, even if you don't like spinach!) and the portions are huge. My leftovers always get me through at least one more meal, if not two. another chain Italian restaurant – This place suffers from the plague of chain restaurants--the food seems like it was popped out of a frozen container and nuked for a few minutes. As an appetizer, we had the shrimp, lobster, and artichoke dip. The quality was that of TGIFriday's frozen appetizers. Our main courses were a pizza--which could have used more topping and been less crispy--and a portabella sandwich. The sandwich wasn't bad. However, for the price and quality of food, I'd choose Macaroni Grill anyday.
Fantastic – To put it bluntly, at Biaggis you get Olive Garden prices but 50 times better food. The staff is top notch and very attentive. In fact I recall my first visit during their first week. I bumped the table and tipped the drinks over. I had more bus boys clearing and resetting the table than I knew existed. The decor is upscale but not typical italian.
Teach me more Becky ! – I brought my co-workers here the other night for a nice dinner, so good wine, and to yes, talk business. "Becky" was not only our outstanding server, but our "tour guide" as well. Teaching is evidently something she does professionally, and it really showed with us - we learned about the wines, the food, and what to really get from a night out for noodles. Nice New Restaurant – Very nice new Italian restaurant. You *can* eat fairly inexpensively (although I think there were pricier items as well). Several items are available in half-size portions. It's not a dressy place, but you might feel more comfortable not going in shorts & sandals...
Not that great – I was not impressed with this place. The food for the price was not much different than other large chains. I've had better pasta at Mom & Pop-type places for sure. The ambience and service were great. They handled our large group (including a toddler) very well. Still, I would spend my money elsewhere.
WOW, What a place!! – Definitely one of the best restaurants in the metro! The food is absolutely delicious, and extremely reasonable. The Waitstaff rocks, and does it all with a cute smile! Keep up the excellent work! P.S. I'll be going there tonight:)
Disappointed – This is a very loud chain restaraunt dressed up to make one think it is more. I have a distaste for help that is trained to act like they really care...but obviously often do not.
EP gets good Italian – Our server didn't know how to pour my Guinness (it comes in cans here), but everything else was next to perfect. The food is great, service friendly, and there's a few vegetarian options on the menu. The lunch menu shines as EP's best quality/price value.
