This place is awesome!! Great food!! – I have no idea why someone would give this place a bad review. The food here is described as Indian tapas and basically it is Northern Indian food. It was described to me as also being alot of "street" food or food you would get from small carts or vendors in that region. They also have entree plates that looked awesome. Why so many good reviews? – I didn't think this place was so great - not a very extensive menu (for an Indian restaurant). Average food and poor service. I tried this place when it first opened and thought that maybe they had such a limited menu/bad service because they were brand new (that was several years ago), but it's still the same.
Tasty and great flavor – I went with friends to check out the $12 all-you-can-tapas on Thursday nights. The selections are limited but still very good. One friend ordered the special and I tried some other tapas. The portions are larger than your average tapas size. My favorites were the Roti Canai, the Seekh Kebabs, & the Bhei Puri. The flavors were strong & spicy. For dessert we chose the saffron cardommon cheesecake - it was a little heavy for cheesecake and we couldn't really taste the spices. Great indian food w/ jazz music! – I went on a Friday night, and they had live jazz, which was very good. It wasn't too loud either. The food was great! I'm vegan, so they had a good amount of options for me. The nan bread is average tasting but still good. The service was excellent. Guava martini is a bit sweet - don't think they put enough alcohol in it. There is a parking lot in the shopping plaza the restaurant is at, but it was full when I got there, but eventually found someone who left. Overall, great experience!
For a change - healthy and tasty Indian food – For a change, there is an Indian restaurant that serves yummy and authentic Indian food that doesn't make you feel guilty of consuming 300 gms of oil and saturated fats in one night. From appetizers to the main course (thali) - this place is the best in ATL.
Delicious and fun! – My husband and I went for the first time on Friday night. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated immediately. A great live band played a fusion of what seemed to be Indian and jazz music. The tapas are definitely the way to go, especially the roasted eggplant and corncakes. Our server was right-on with his shiraz recommendation, and the other staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. We'll definitely return soon!
