Pretty expensive but a unique experience. Food was really good and same with drinks. Loved the atmosphere and the service was also exceptional.
Food: not sure what is the cuisine. Hints of Indonesian flavors but below par. Not worth the price. Place needs a deep clean. I admire the idea behind and the thought on what it could be but lacks deeply in execution.
Had been wanting to try this place for ages, have heard so many good things about it and was absolutely not disappointed. Started off with some appetizers/salad and oysters. July 2026 Update - had a group meal with 8. Chefs menu was fantastic. Everything was excellent and we all brought home leftovers. Enjoyed a lovely meal at Bhimas. We have gone a few times over the years, but it has been since before the pandemic that we have had a chance to get back there. Food is creatively curated, environment is more casual than fine. You'd never expect it from the outside, but Bhima's is a long-standing hidden gem in Waterloo. They have very intriguing dishes, excellent cocktails and a decent beer selection. Great place to celebrate any occasion, or to even just treat yourself on any random day.
