BHI operates under the names of Woodland, Pinecrest, and Richland. Woodland sold us a house that hadn’t passed final building inspections, failing in plumbing, electrical and structural according to Douglas County, so the home was not cleared for occupancy and was uninsurable. The builder didn’t even catch it; the building inspector was driving by as we were moving in and realized he hadn’t cleared that house. The electrical inspection failed more than once. We will be coming up on two years in our brand new house and I’ve tried my best to refrain from posting a bad review. However, we are continuing to have problems with all the exterior seal in our BRAND new house - windows, doors, etc. We brought this up with warranty (which is a joke) and we had water already in our ceiling and basement after only living in the house for maybe 2 months. Poor communications.
Very poor communication. Do not follow through with warranty or tell you why. Every neighborhood with BHI has tons of problems and they do not care. Takes weeks to months for them to respond to you - if you ever get a response. I would strongly suggest another company.
