I had my first appointment today with Dr. Iyer- She was extremely thorough, and listened to my concerns while showing empathy in every way. I left feeling heard and seen. ( pun intended) I highly recommend Dr. Iyer and will look forward to using the resources she suggested, as well as following up with her with my eye diagnosis.
Dr. Iyer and her team are wonderful! When I went to see her I was scared and worried about what my treatment would be, but Dr Iyer is so welcoming and after explaining the treatment plan I knew I was in good, caring hands. Jose, the occupational therapist in her group, was terrific. He fully explained each of the exercises and had a well thought out plan for me that allowed me to heal and learn how to work with my vision impairment. Simply put, exquisite
Dr. Iyer was wonderful in helping our child with low vision identify tools that could help her school with maximizing her performance. We had a very good experience with her technicians and her bedside manner is very good with children.
This post is on behalf of my wife, Stella Barrett. Dr. Bhavani Iyer is the low vision specialist for the Robert Cizik Eye Clinic. She was able to improve my vision with corrective lenses and which, greatly improved my quality of life. Together with Tamara, the visual rehabilitation therapist, I was able to resume many of my activities of daily living.
