Don’t expect a warm bedside manner — he’s very clinical and straightforward. There’s no online patient portal for his office, and the procedure results don’t appear on Advent Hospital’s patient system. If he comes out to speak with you or your family after a procedure, consider yourself fortunate; communication is limited and updates can feel minimal. Office staff is not only rude, but inefficient. I tell them on the 14th that I changed insurance, I had a sleep study 2 weeks prior scheduled after that date. They waited to send for the prior auth, and even I had to be the one to initiate it. Left multiple messages for the office, but their phones were down. Finally get my auth approved but the office was closed and they couldn't see me for my appointment. Overall terrible experience with the office staff.

I used to be a patient of Dr Bhat is friendly, amazing, just recently I was hospitalized & he still came to see me. When I first met with him, I was still smoking. I eventually did it, I finally quit smoking. It was so hard to do but because he was firm about me smoking & it's been almost 2 months that I stopped smoking. Thanks to Dr Bhat is very knowledgeable & his staff is amazing. I was diagnosed with COPD. He always greets you & always ask how you feel. I have had some good experiences with Dr Bhat although I continue to go without my inhaler every month, waiting for the Rx to be called in. Why no refills. I have been a patient for 18 months and all of a sudden I receive a bill that I can't verify because it's so old. Frustrating. Update. Dec 24, 2024. I am thrilled that I was able to get a new insurance and I'm going back to my previous doctor.
