Horrible communication on what the Dr. does and doesnt treat, even with pregnant wife needing appointments asap for possible pregnancy complications. Possible condition and asap notes made at the time of appointment schedule. Made us waste almost 2 months, a week before our scheduled appointment, before canceling stating ' The Doctor doesnt treat that type of rheumatology issue here(Ehlers danlos)'. This has put her in a dangerous position due to carelessness.

Dr Mimi Bhaskar is an excellent listener. She is caring, detailed, honest and just a great Doctor all around. I’d very highly recommend her to anyone needing a Rheumatologidt!

I saw her when she was at a different office. I was diagnosed with lupus, and my doctor left the practice while I was pregnant and moved to Virginia, so I was moved to this doctor. Rather than see me on the frequent schedule my doctor had been, she made me wait to be seen as a new patient and then told me I didn't have lupus and it was RA so, she'd see me when wasn't pregnant anymore. Dr. Bhaskar spends times and listens which is hard to find in a rheumatologist.
