Dr. Rao is the best!
Dr. Barat Rao demonstrated good bedside manners in the multiple appointments that I had with him. I’ve seen Dr. Rao over several years after having two ER incidents where CT scans showed inflammation of the ileum and in one case the inflammation (without signs of infection) had spread to surrounding areas including the ascending colon and paracolic gutter causing blockage that almost required surgery. Dr. Rao is amazing — it’s hard to fully put into words. He is unassuming, yet his patient care is exceptional. He truly goes the extra mile, and that’s exactly what everyone wants in a healthcare provider.
I did not like the fact of having a 3 stage banding done. But these professionals made it comfortable and quick. The staff there are so nice and helpful. If you have to have a banding process or any digestive work done this is the place.
